I wouldn’t if I were you
I brought a car from Springfield auto care in march and my only mistake was buying off this lot
I was told that the warranty was with the rac for six months ( it isn’t , by law dealer is liable for warranty ie repairs and diagnostics ) so I would refuse the rac warranty as you don’t need it and they use it to avoid a cost to themselves
The mileage was 2800 more against the advert.
1st time it went back in because it wouldn’t start properly in the morning especially when it was cold and the wheel bearing was badly worn from purchase also the traction control lights kept coming on
2nd time it went in for glow plugs for the and 3 were down
I tried to get it back the 3rd time ( this is all in under 3 months )because it would start and cut out every time I started it and wheel bearing was making so much noise but when I called I was told I have to pay for diagnostics ( something that will probably be denied in the well thought out reply as to me as an unhappy customer) but I should not be charged for anything in under 6 months
All in all I wouldn’t advise anyone using them for car purchase or anything else for that matter
I did seek legal advice but it’s far too longwinded and the company will probably be swapped to someone else anyway and open up somewhere else
I await the reply of a defensive run down of me being an awkward customer or a reply to say how sorry they are ( I’m not holding my breath)and I should have taken it back even though they wanted to charge me ,or and I shouldn’t have been told that ( damage limitation)
I wouldn’t trust them with my pushbike , and if you want repairs or tyres ( formula 1 best prices )try a local garage ( Maryland motors )that has been going for a while
I’m x motor trade 30 years so know roughly what I’m talking about
