- MMMartyJul 16, 20261.0Absolutely awful service, and a stain on the Enterprise Brand. Booked a small van, but arrived and provided with a very large van as an 'upgrade'. Took it anyway and drove to my office a mile away. Immediately realised the van was too big to get into my office car park, so rang Enterprise and was told to bring the van back and because they didn't have a small van, I'd get a refund. Then the manager was spoken to and said they'd need to deduct £20 from my refund. Annoying, but I said okay. Took the van back immediately. Then received an email saying they were charging me for TWO days rental when it was in my possession for a couple of hours. Rang to ask why and spoke to a person who was very polite, but said he needed to ask his manager about this, who took the phone and immediately put the phone down on me without even speaking to me. Shocking behaviour. I have rented elsewhere now. Also know that Enterprise's Excess is £2500!! Complaint being sent to head office, and a chargeback being raised for the payment.
- LBLisa BowdidgeJul 14, 20263.0Can not give 5 as was let down by fuel in van. Was told it was full and had to be returned full. This was not the case. The van when picked up had 288 miles left in the tank and I filled it up and the van had 497 miles left in the tank. There is no way the van was full when I picked it up. I did take photos of both. The van had a different fuel gauge to what I am used to. It had digital lines 7 of them and I thought that was full but when I filled it up it had 9. Had I been aware of this I would not had filled it up. Just be careful when hiring from enterprise I did take photos but won't be able to claim back the extra I put in. Had I known this I would had queried this when picking up the van.
