  I am writing this review regarding my mothers experience with Enterprise in Giffnock, Glasgow. In summary taking advantage of an older woman for her excess over a small nick in a tyre and adopting what appeared to be underhand and dishonest business practices. She was given a car to use as part of her insurance due to a non-fault accident. This happened about 7 weeks before I wrote this review. When she arrived the staff seemed very friendly. She used the car for a few days and returned it having done about 30 miles or less. When she arrived back she found everyone acting a bit off with their heads down not so friendly like when she arrived. A guy came out to inspect her car and quickly went to one of the tyres stating it had a small nick and they would need to charge her £300 for the excess. My mother had the impression that he went straight to that tyre knowing the nick was there. Also charging £300 for a tyre (they did say they would return the difference - well who knows if they actually would have)? Fortunately my mothers insurance company LV insurance sorted this out stating they had no right to do this. Needless to say my mother was very upset about this at the time and felt they were being dishonest. My mothers insurance company also commented on Enterprises practice of it being very difficult for them to return excesses when they take them. Many of the reviews I see on Trustpilot highlight similar behaviours often finding faults with tyres although in other branches. So warning to other customers if using this business to take close photographs all round the car especially tyres. I have almost never if ever written a negative review but after listening to my mothers story and how upset she was, it felt very dishonest and felt I needed to highlight this to other customers! Seriously what kind of Business practice is this? Targeting an older lady for her excess. No doubt Enterprise will have their side of the story but knowing my mother and the way she described the situation and the shifts in behaviour on drop off the whole thing sounds dishonest and typical practice of some of these car hire companies. Hope you guys running this show at Giffnock take this on board and sort your business practices out!

  Excellent service from Enterprise. 7 seater Car was perfect and the staff were great but I forgot the rep’s name, but they were brilliant. Would definitely use again.

  The worst experience ever. Not only are they rude but they operate in bad faith and make up rates as they go along. Try to over charge for fuel and give vehicles where features don't work. Over promised, under delivered at every turn. Their senior management don't really care about anything other than p&l either.
