  I have been really disappointed with Enterpise. After someone hit my car I was directed to enterpise by my insurance. I ended up having to have 2 cars from them and both cars had tyre issues where pressure was being lost, both with slow punctures one resulting in a completely flat tyre within a few days of having it. The second car also had electrical issues and wouldn’t work properly. They then tried to give me a £178 bill for the slow puncture despite me signing a form on day 1 about zero excess. When I rang they said it was the damage recovery unit who sent the bill and it would be sorted. Fast forward 5 days after returning the car, and out of nowhere £178 is taken from my bank without permission or a conversation about it. Again this has been blamed on the damage recovery unit and I’ve been told they didn’t know I’d signed for zero excess? There is clearly a lack of communication between the damage recovery unit and the people behind the desk and to be charged from my card without a conversation about it is disgusting. £178 in this economy is a lot of money to just have taken when you don’t actually owe it. When I rung enterprise to chase this they said it takes 4-5 working days for a refund. So they can take the money out of your account without asking, but it’ll then take multiple days to get your own money back.
