A great experience with just one problem at drop off. Picking up the car was super quick and easy, the staff member (forgive me I have forgotten his name but it was 9am Thursday 25th June) was very kind, efficient and helpful despite having to run the desk on his own and run around serve multiple people. The car was great, in solid condition and the rental process was smooth.
However, drop-off instructions from the automated email and whatsapp chat bot were unclear. They said to leave in the box 'by the stairwell and elevators'. In Brighton car park, there are no elevators, and there are several stairwells, so we spent over 20 minutes running around in the heat trying to find the box. Eventually we found a box hidden behind the key pickup station (which is not by a stairwell or an elevator), and deduced that it must be the drop off box, although there was no clear labelling or signage. This must be made clearer for customers. I want to stress that this was no fault of the man staffing the pickup desk, he was very helpful and had probably instructed me during pickup, but by the time I dropped off the car (which was past the open hours of the front desk) I had forgotten, so looked at the emails and whatsapp instructions, and these instructions were wrong.
