  Recently rented two vehicles from here as part of moving my stuff into a new flat. The whole operation was very efficient and professional, and Ellie in particular was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service!

  Truly awful experience. We need to hire regularly for work and often need to extend our hire period depending on how jobs go. I asked when I collected about extending and was told it was no problem and I just needed to call to arrange. Tried doing so 3 or 4 times in the afternoon two days before the return date but got no answer. Called again first thing the following morning and was told that I had to call 24 hours prior to the return to extend, but even if I had they would have said no because they needed the car back. Initially demanded I return at my original hire time (which was impossible as I was on the other side of the country) but then agreed I could return at 8am the following morning. This resulted in a completely unnecessary 4 hour drive back to Edinburgh and an angry team of 10 people (from our biggest client) waiting for hours for me to return to work after dropping the car back. The icing on the cake was being charged for a full extra day, which should have entitled me to keep the car until 5pm, despite being made to return it first thing in the morning. As I said above we hire frequently with Enterprise but will take our business elsewhere in future.

  Hired a Q7 for the day car was in excellent condition at a cheap rate , staff made hire and drop off a pleasant experience special mention to Dawood & Elizabeth . Would definitely recommend and use again .

  I had booked a car for a road trip to the highlands several weeks in advance. Checked the website and the app as well as the email they sent me, and it said everywhere that if I had an EU license and proof of life/work in the UK, I only needed a debit card to pay the deposit. But when I showed up to the agency, I was still asked for a credit card because they couldn’t properly verify my details. The woman was very sweet and I could tell she felt sorry but I’m so disappointed because I literally checked everything beforehand and had all the right paperwork.

  Awful service. On returning the car there was the tiniest blemish on a tyre which was almost certainly on the car at pick up and they tried to charge £100 for a replacement tyre, I would advise against using this company - I never will again. In fairness I should write a follow up. The car was hired in Glasgow and returned in Edinburgh. On appealing to the Glasgow branch the unfair claim against us was dropped. So full marks to the Glasgow branch for their prompt and fair treatment. However the fact remains that customers need to be on their guard when dealing with the over officious/over zealous Edinburgh branch.
