Price and service at the counter were great, and the car was exactly what we needed. However, there were some spots in the car that hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and we had a few messages pop up while driving that indicated the battery was dying. Overall, I'm satisfied, but the cleaning and maintenance procedures between drivers could be improved.

Impecable todo. La atención del personal fue perfecta. El auto muy bien Todo el proceso fue muy rápido y transparente. Todo lo contrario que el alquiler que hice una semana atrás en la agencia de Park Lane en Londres

We had an excellent experience with Alamo car rental. Pickup was handled by Zen, who took us through registration, checking our international license and driving documents, processing the deposit, and so on. He was kind and friendly throughout, and the whole process only took about 10 minutes from checking documents to getting the keys. Importantly, Zen didn't try to hard-sell us on protection insurance (we'd already bought this through Trip.com), and there were no additional charges or hidden fees when we picked up the car. The return process, handled by Nikola, was just as smooth. She was friendly and chatted with us while quickly checking the car like tyres and general condition for any damage, and explained that the deposit would be returned once everything checked out. Again, it only took about 10 minutes. We were genuinely impressed by how efficient everything was. No hidden fees at any point, you book and pay online, and that's it, simple as that. As for the car itself, we got exactly what we booked, a Vauxhall Corsa. It was in great condition throughout our NC500 trip. Overall, a great experience with Alamo, friendly staff, fast service, and complete transparency on costs. Highly recommend.

My family and I had an excellent experience renting from Alamo/Enterprise at Waverley Station in Edinburgh. We were four adults traveling around Scotland for two weeks, and Atika truly made us feel welcomed and looked after from the moment we arrived. I had originally booked a Nissan Qashqai, but after I explained my concerns about fitting all our luggage, Atika took the time to look at what we had and immediately understood what we needed. What stood out most was how genuinely helpful and patient she was. She never made us feel pressured to upgrade—instead, she warmly guided us through several options and even let us test our luggage until we found the perfect fit: a Mazda CX-30 in the same vehicle category. We drove nearly 1,000 miles, and the car was comfortable and reliable. Even our return experience was friendly and pleasant. A heartfelt thank you to Atika for her kindness, patience, and exceptional customer service. She went the extra mile to make sure our trip got off to a great start. We highly recommend this location to anyone renting a car in Edinburgh!
