  Put my car in for service and MOT and was told it needed a track rod end and a few other bits along with both front tyres to get through the MOT so I obviously got it done. Got a call a few hours later saying they needed to keep it overnight as they’d ran out of time. Got the car back the next day and noticed on my receipt that they hadn’t even done the service and also when driving the car, noticed that my steering wheel was now out of alignment (which wasn’t mentioned on the phone as I had someone else drop off and pick up the car for me, as I was working). The car had now also developed a knocking noise coming from the front brake and after an inspection from another local garage was told the front brake now had a ‘lip’ in it which wasn’t there before. Protyre also gave my car multiple advisories on the MOT but failed to pick up on the tie rods that also needed doing whilst they replaced the track rod end and that it was actually both track rod ends and not just one side like I was told. So now, I have had to take my car to another garage (a reputable one) and get these problems sorted out, which they have, but has now cost me more than the work at protyre to fix (minus the 2 tyres). The other garage I took it too also ended up needing to keep my car in overnight as one of the parts was seized on due to being over tightened by protyre. Overall just a big inconvenience and an absolute waste of money. Over £500 spent at protyre including the new tyres and over £400 spent picking up the pieces after them. Not my first experience here where my car has came out worse off than when it first went in. And I’m not the only one either! Would advise anyone to avoid at all costs.

  Daughter put car in for repairs to steering /track arm . Ball joint , new front tyres and tracking 4 weeks ago . Noticed the tyres had already started to scrub off on the outsides . Rang the garage to be told you only have 1 week guarantee to notice its scrubbing the tyres off . Took to another garage who could belive it had been tracked. Word of warning don't go there if your a girl or not sure about cars .
