  Important warning before renting. When I arrived to collect my pre-booked vehicle, the vehicle I had booked was not available. I was offered a Luton van instead and had to wait while the replacement vehicle was prepared. At pickup, the paperwork showed no damage recorded anywhere. I assumed the vehicle had been properly checked before being handed over, but later I became concerned that this may not have been the case. Before returning the vehicle, I noticed light damage on the left side mirror. I phoned the staff and asked whether this was pre-existing, and I was told that it was. However, this damage had not been recorded on the paperwork when I collected the vehicle. When I returned the van, a chip in the windscreen was identified and I was charged the excess. Because the paperwork showed no damage at the start, I had no evidence to prove that the chip was already there before I took the vehicle. In my opinion, this creates a serious risk for customers. If damage is not properly recorded at pickup, the next customer can end up being charged for damage they did not cause. Whether this was poor inspection practice or something more concerning, the result for the customer is the same. I will be raising a formal complaint with the BVRLA. My advice: before driving away, take clear photos and videos of every panel, every window, every mirror, the windscreen, wheels, roof, and interior. If the paperwork shows no damage, do not assume the vehicle is damage-free. Document everything yourself and ask staff to record any existing damage before you leave.

  I've experience of van rental and car rental from this branch , at my time of visiting I found the staff to be super helpfull and they even had a very nice lady drop me off at WhiteSands (they did offer to take me home ) so I could grab a bus 🚌 the car and van respectively were impeccable in presentation and the hire process was explained properly both times, zero hassles and a smiley face 😀 👍 Cheers

  Our car was reserved at 16:00 and we had to wait until 17:00 to get it. We had groceries waiting at a local farm shop (for our almost two week stay) that closed at 17:00 which created an issue. Aziz was fantastic and stepped up to help us with a temporary car so I could go grab our groceries and bring them back to the rental car location. There was a lady there that we asked to help and she did absolutely nothing. Our car (which showed online would hold 5 bags) did not hold our bags. So, Aziz stepped up again and drove our extra items to the place we were staying in a separate car. Aziz was a life saver! The same could not be said for the other employees there. Aziz and the gentleman cleaning the cars were the only two people working hard there. Very disappointed in this rental as we are frequent customers of Enterprise and this was one of the poorer experiences.
