- NCNicholas ColesAug 27, 20265.0Here on holiday and my caliper seized. Could barely make it around the town. Dropped into Kwik Fit, as they were nearest, but they didn't want to help. Then just about got the car to Selecta Tyre, who couldnt have been more helpful. It was all repaired within just 2.5 hours. He showed me the parts and what had gone wrong. Thanks very much.

They don't do motorcycle tyres, but let me borrow a watering can and their air compressor so I could find a puncture and put a temporary patch on it. I was 180 miles from home as everywhere was about to shut. They really saved me and didn't even charge for their help.
- MPMark PashleyApr 20, 20261.0Took my daughters Yaris here as it seemed one of the front brake calipers wasn’t releasing fully. Left the car with them for a while. When we came back we were told the car would need a new caliper, brake disc and pads. The caliper was rubbing and it had damaged the other items. Total cost over £450. Wasn’t happy at the price so went away. Had the car serviced and MOT’d at a local mechanic to us who charged us £25 to remove and clean the caliper. Also confirmed the disc and pads were absolutely fine. The car sailed through the MOT with 0 advisories. I believe they were taking advantage of a young girl with L plates on her car (at the time). £450+ when it just needed cleaning. Beware of coming here and always get a 2nd opinion from somewhere else if you do.

I came to these guys without an appointment and to my surprise they were super helpful and did the repair within the next hour . Super super helpful.. thanks you guys. Also a special mention on the staff are very experienced so you can trust them with your work in hand.

We are COVID-19 secure and have signed the COVID-19 secure declaration. All our garages adhere to strict COVID-19 protocols including all employees wearing face coverings at all times.
Do I need to wear a face covering when visiting your garage?
To help keep us all safe we do ask that while visiting our garage you remember to wear a face covering (unless exempt in line with Government guidelines) when entering our reception areas and when speaking with members of our in other areas of the garage.
What do I do if I can’t bring my vehicle to your garage?
If you are unable to come to us, then we can come to you. We offer vehicle collection and delivery service as well as mobile fitting services. Please give your local garage a call to talk about how we can help.
Do I need prepare my vehicle in anyway before bringing it to a garage?
Where our team members will need entry to your vehicle please can you ensure it is clean inside with no items laying where our team may need to be, such as foot wells. This will minimise contact with surfaces, helping keep everyone safe.
