  ABSOLUTELY unreliable, VERY unprofessional, MOST appalling customer service I have ever witnessed from ANY company whatsoever! I had a van booking for a large wedding I needed to manage and shoot in Peterborough Saturday 20.06.26. Booking was secured and confirmed roughly two months before to ensure availability. Being a return customer who has never caused any damage to any other of their vehicles before, Enterprise being literally down the road from my studio, you can imagine the shock when a young lady from the Enterprise Office in Ilkeston called me mid Friday afternoon, merely about an hour or so before I was actually due to go collect my van, to advise me "I am sorry but we do not have a van available for you today"! The Enterprise Office could not even be bothered to follow up to check if I got sorted or even attempt to provide me a van from another base or office. This in spite of me totally stressing out to the young lady on the phone on how important it was for me to have my van that day not to let anyone down. Thankfully a far more customer care conscious competitor of Enterprise, B4D Vehicle Hire in Derby stepped in literally in the eleventh hour for me and made a van available at my disposal. Absolutely disgusting care less attitude from Enterprise who needless to say I cannot imagine bothering to ever contemplate using again! Such crap and nonexistent customer service explains why certain companies actually fold up in spite of them operating for so many years. Enterprise Personnel and Fleet Management, do your company a favour and investigate this case educating and training such team members in customer care! I awarded one star because I actually had too. One star is far too generous for you!

  The ilkeston Enterprise branch has exceptional staff... we had such amazing service on booking, collection and drop off. Would not have a moments hesitation in recommending them.

  Terrible experience, start to finish. Originally booked a medium van, went to collect it. The key fob didn’t work so had to climb in through the passenger seat. Covered in dents.. looked like it had been through a war zone and wasn’t even cleaned. Foolishly decided to take it anyway cause I had plans. Whilst driving home “braking system malfunction - stop vehicle immediately” came in the dash 4 times. So rang them and explain I’m not happy, and to be fair to the lady I spoke to, she sorted it and got me into something a little bit better. All seemed ok until I came to return it (early at that). Soon as I pulled up, the guy pretty much ran to a tyre asking if I had protection. ( I did but an external company) Due to a very deeply buried screw.. it was clear from looking at it that it had been in there a while due to all the dry cracking around it! and then told me they “should” take the full £2,200 excess to get this repaired. But they’ll only take £200.. like they are doing me a favour. £200 for a van tyre??? But I’ve been assured they’ll refund me the difference… I’ll believe that when I see it. I had my doubts about this based on the reviews then my initial pick up.. should have walked away there and then. Best part about all of this, when I was exchanging the faulty van, another customer came in to exchange their car due to oil warning on the dash! Word of warning to anyone considering using these, google bridges van hire in Awsworth, you’ll pay abit more but not get shafted!

  Appalling service from the Ilkeston branch. Communication very poor, left waiting over 1hour for a loan vehicle. Area Manager stepped into support & you need to know your staff at Ilkeston were not honest with you. There was no loan car on its way to me. Unauthorised money has been taken from my account & despite assurances has not been refunded. On the basis that the branch have failed to respond. I have submitted my complaint via the survey. 1 star is a star too much.
