  I've hired a few cars now from the Barrow office and the service, the cars have always been great, especially with our last trip to Wales, the Peugeot 2008 was absolutely brilliant, comfortable and economical. We'll continue to go for Enterprise, the staff, especially the manager Jade, always helpful

  The free pick up service was a god send, plus the friendly and helpful staff at the Barrow branch and Wakefield were 10/10. Thank you for being so easy to use, a massive help after our own vehicle broke down!

  Extremely frustrating experience and not one I would expect from a major rental provider. At Manchester Airport, I was simply handed the keys and directed to a bay — no walk-around inspection, no confirmation of the vehicle’s condition, and no proper handover process. The car was parked in a dimly lit area, making any meaningful inspection difficult at the time. The vehicle was later collected from my home address by the Barrow Branch without any attempt to contact me and without any inspection carried out in my presence. Despite this lack of process at both collection and return, I was subsequently issued with a damage claim which I strongly dispute. What is most concerning is that, rather than providing clear, time-stamped evidence to support the claim, the response has relied on generic terms and conditions and an expectation that the customer should have identified and reported any issues within a limited timeframe — even under poor conditions. Without documented checks at handover or return, and without transparent evidence being provided, the process feels heavily weighted against the customer. I would strongly recommend that anyone hiring from this company takes detailed photos and videos at both collection and return, as you may otherwise be left in a difficult position trying to challenge a claim. Based on this experience, I will not use this company again.
