Hired a van through the website during the night as we were in the process of moving, payment accepted and my fiancé received the booking confirmation. We arrived at the branch at 11am due to Sunday opening hours to be told they didn’t have any vans. I felt like I was to blame because I made the reservation during the nights, as this was mentioned to me several times. The website should not be advertising vehicles that are unavailable and my money should not have been taken. A lovely person said we could have their van as they only needed to hire a car, to which the manager I think, said the didn’t have any cars available either. What a shambles of a branch and company. I was told I had been emailed and called, however my fiancé did not receive any call or email. We used his details due to my phone running out of battery. Three weeks later and I’m still awaiting my refund and a response to my complaint. Their webchat agents say they will escalate it, yet I’m chasing weekly. Avoid at all costs.

We were helped by Harry when we picked it up, he was friendly helpful and professional. When we returned the car, we were about to book a taxi to our hotel when Bernardo, another member of their team said ‘jump back in the car and I’ll take you to your hotel’. We felt we were treated with great care and respect; the service exceeded our expectations. Well done team. We would recommend most highly.
