- MWMatthew WaltonDec 23, 20222.0Rented a Seat Arona - zippy car, fun to drive. Couldn’t get Apple play to work, nor the navigation - despite customer service officer saying it was simple (but not showing us). The windscreen washer didn’t work - pretty poor given the mucky roads. Had to repeatedly stop and clean the windscreen with a water bottle. Finally I’m not convinced I paid the right amount - just no transparency to the cost. And the customer service officer kept faffing around trying to get her iPad tech to work - after trying 3 different devices she finally went to a computer. After wasting so much of my time I needed to get going - but I’m not comfortable on what I paid. On return to Exeter airport the lads on duty were too busy to get out of their warm dry shed to process the return. And 3days after returning the car I got a phone call and email seeking my view on the rental and saying I’d receive a survey - which hasn’t come. In simple terms, the car was ready when it should’ve been (though not 100% clean), the car was fun to drive, and it wasn’t Europcar - so 2 stars

Next day on way to collect...phone call to say sorry no car available till afternoon. Very frustrating. Arranged to ring to confirm pick-up time later in afternoon. No reply to 6 attempts. No answer phone service. These people seem to have no idea of how to conduct a business. Have wasted time, money and missed meetings as a result. Filing formal complaint through their affiliate company Enterprise Rentacar and have now booked successfully with no problem at Budget UK Truro. I shan't try to use them again.
