  Never had an issue with these before. However, on Friday i used their online service to book a break inspection for Monday afternoon. Was emailed booking confirmation and reference code. Turned up to be told they are fully booked for the rest of the day and their online booking system doesn't line up with their diary. Ive literally juggled clients around to adhere to the appointment given. Why have an online booking system of it doesn't work? I was offered an alternative date but just emailed to cancel as got in to another garage.

  Used Taylors Tyres again today for tracing tyre replacement for my daughters car, been using them for many years. Very impressed with how helpful and knowledgeable they are, but this has always been the case with them. I highly recommend them for all types of service, and at a reasonable price.

  Disappointed and Let Down I’ve used Taylor’s Tyres for years as I believe in supporting local family businesses as opposed to National Chains . Until now I have generally been happy with their service. Unfortunately, this experience has highlighted a clear issue with communication and accountability. Looking at previous reviews communication or lack of seems to be a common theme. I brought my car in to have a cable checked and repaired—a job that should take no more than ten minutes. I was charged £60 and told a previous temporary fix (not done by them) had been replaced with a permanent one. 2 months later, the same fault returned. As the car wasn’t safe to drive, a mechanic friend repaired it at my workplace. He showed me the previous repair was nothing more than minimal soldering and not a permanent fix in any sense. I have photos confirming this. I contacted Taylor’s Tyres and received a reply 9 days later from Caz, who was polite and initially helpful. I responded the next day explaining I had to pay someone else to fix the issue properly and asked what they intended to do about the £60 I had paid. After four further emails with no response, I called and spoke to Sophie, who said Matt was unavailable and Caz was away. She said she would pass on my message. I followed up again by email—still no reply a week later. At this point, the issue is no longer just the poor repair, but the complete lack of follow-up. I’ve given multiple opportunities to resolve this, but have been ignored. This is not acceptable customer service.
