  Very disappointing experience with Enterprise at Newquay Airport I pre-booked a rental car with Enterprise at Newquay Airport approximately a week in advance and made a pre-payment of almost £300 for the reservation. When I arrived at my allocated collection time of 14:30, I was told that no cars were available. The parking area was essentially empty, so there wasn't even the possibility of choosing an alternative vehicle. I was told that I could potentially wait for a car to be returned at around 16:00 — approximately 1.5 hours after my booked collection time. When I asked whether they could guarantee that a car would actually be available within an hour or so, I was told no. Essentially, I was expected to wait and hope that a vehicle became available. I was also told that this situation was covered by their policies. I ultimately chose not to wait, particularly as more customers were arriving and another gentleman was experiencing a very similar issue. I understand that rental cars can be delayed or returned late, but accepting a substantial pre-payment for a confirmed reservation and then having no vehicle available at the agreed collection time, with no guarantee of when one would become available, is extremely disappointing. The whole experience left me feeling that the reservation and payment provided very little assurance that the service I had paid for would actually be delivered. Very disappointing and, in my view, an unacceptable way to handle pre-paid bookings.

  Very good experience renting a car from Enterprise. Staff were very friendly and overall great on collection and return. Car was also terrific and in great condition. Just waiting on a refund and assuming that all goes to plan I'd recommend them very highly.

  Disgusting customer service from this branch. The car we were given was not clean on the inside, there was a half eaten sandwich in it and a scratch on the outside. We took pictures and were honest and upfront. And now we are being charged for something nothing to do with us. Jacob, in particular is extremely rude, condeceding and unprofessional! We have lodged a formal complaint and we will take it further. We live locally to Newquay and will never recommend, except to tell people to stay well away!

  This company owe us a days money as we paid for a 4 day hire and because of issues on their end they could not provide a van for the first day so we only had 3 days. They have acknowledged that they owe us money. Keep telling us that their supervisor isn't in (it has been about 2/3 months now). Stated that we are thinking about small claims court because we don't know what else to do and one employee (Jacob) just said 'go for it'. Disgusting customer service and attitude from employers.
