  Really great experience! Pick up and drop off were both very quick and easy. I was given a brand new car, which I really enjoyed driving. Everything was smooth, professional, and hassle free from start to finish. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend!

  I hired a car for four days, and the experience was completely unacceptable from start to finish. The day before collection, I was informed that the car I had booked was no longer available and was offered a downgrade instead. As I was given little choice and needed the vehicle for our holiday, I reluctantly accepted. Then, just 30 minutes before the scheduled collection time — despite the fact that I live around 1.5 hours away — I was told that they actually had no car available for me at all. I was then assured they would arrange a vehicle from another location, but they could not tell me when it would be available. Nobody contacted me with an update, so I had to call them myself at around 5:30pm. At that point, they still had no vehicle for me and could only suggest that something might become available for collection after my original reservation time had already passed. The branch manager, Will, was particularly disappointing. I found him rude, ineffective and completely unable to offer any meaningful solution. At a point when the branch had failed to provide the service I had booked and paid for, I would have expected the manager to take ownership of the situation and make a genuine effort to resolve it. Instead, he was of no practical help whatsoever. What makes the situation worse is that I was advised they would not reimburse the additional costs or losses we incurred during our holiday as a direct result of their failure to provide the vehicle we had reserved. A reservation should mean that a vehicle is actually available. Informing a customer shortly before collection that there is no car, failing to provide updates, offering no reliable alternative, and then refusing to take responsibility for the resulting costs falls far below the minimum standard I would expect from a car rental company. This caused significant disruption to our holiday, wasted our time and left us out of pocket. I would strongly advise others not to rely on a reservation with this branch.

  I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Enterprise Car Rental Bodmin. A rental car had been arranged for me, but I was given repeated assurances that were never fulfilled. I first received a call informing me that the car would be delivered in the afternoon. Later, I received another call saying it would be delivered in the evening instead. I waited the entire day, but no vehicle was delivered. Before the second call at 5:28 p.m., I asked the staff on three separate occasions to confirm whether I would definitely receive the car that day, as I needed reliable transport. Each time, I was reassured that I would, but these promises turned out to be false. Because the car never arrived, I had no choice but to spend my own money on taxis and train travel to get to work. This caused unnecessary financial expense, inconvenience, and significant stress. To make matters worse, after normal business hours it was extremely difficult to contact anyone for assistance. I eventually managed to reach customer services late in the evening, and they assured me they would leave a note for the Bodmin branch to contact me. However, I never received any call back. I then tried calling the branch myself, but the response was unhelpful, and I found the staff to be negligent and lacking professionalism. Overall, this experience was very disappointing. The repeated false promises, poor communication, lack of accountability, and failure to provide the agreed vehicle resulted in unnecessary costs and considerable inconvenience. I would expect a much higher standard of customer service from a company like Enterprise.

  Very disappointed with my experience with Enterprise in Bodmin. I had a one-way hire booked for 8:00am on 23 July to get me home. At 5:45pm the evening before, I received a phone call to say they were unlikely to have a vehicle available. With less than 15 hours' notice, I was left scrambling to make alternative arrangements. As a result, I had to book expensive last-minute train tickets, completely disrupting my travel plans and leaving me significantly out of pocket. What frustrated me most was the lack of help from the site manager. There didn't seem to be any willingness to find a solution, source a vehicle from another branch, or offer any real assistance. I understand that issues can arise, but if a company can't honour a confirmed booking, I would expect them to do everything they can to minimise the impact on the customer. A confirmed reservation should give you confidence that your vehicle will be there when you need it. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience, and I was left paying the price for Enterprise's failure to deliver. I certainly wouldn't rely on this branch if your travel plans depend on having a vehicle available.
