    I’m really disappointed to be posting this as I thought the company had this in hand, but their lack of response has forced my hand. On my day of collection, I received a call half an hour before the time I booked the vehicle for to say that they didn’t have a car for me yet, and could I please delay collection. Unfortunately, I couldn’t leave it longer as I am self employed and had work to get to. I explained this and they said they’d get the car ready. When I arrived, they said it would be another half an hour still. I went away, came back after half an hour, to be told I couldn’t have the car they’d promised and they’d sent for another. It was agreed that I’d go home and they’d deliver the car to my home in an hour. This part went smoothly, but it was a nuisance not to have the car from the time I’d booked it. On the last evening of my hire, I was driving on the dual carriageway, when I was surrounded by blue flashing lights - three police cars, one to the front, the back and the side of the vehicle. Six police officers got out of the cars when I pulled over to tell me there was suspicion on me taking drugs across county lines because of the car I was driving. They said it had been tracked moving up and down the country (I had stayed in Devon and Cornwall). It was a horrible experience for me at 12.30am, a single woman in the middle of a city. It has impacted my confidence as a driver. Unfortunately, Enterprise said they were investigating the matter and it was all in hand, but it has now been some time and I haven’t heard back. It is very concerning that their cars are being pulled over for this, especially when being driven by a customer who has done nothing wrong. Shame on Enterprise for not handling this issue with more care.
