  Alamo at Waverley Station in Edinburgh was excellent. We rented a Volvo XC90 for 3 weeks of touring in Scotland. The car was superb and the customer service equally top notch. As a Canadian, my confidence driving on the left was assisted very capably by Henri who gave me great tips and assured the start of our trip with confidence. Thx very much!!!

  Fantastic service. Check in at Edinburgh Waverley with Zen was easy, car as we expected was great and check out again with Zen was simple, friendly and a pleasure. Zen was very professional and helpful. Thanks so much. Will use again.

  I have hired cars from this company twice, and both experiences were excellent. The process was fast and straightforward, both online and at the collection desk. There were no long queues, and the pickup process took very little time. The customer service was outstanding throughout. The cars were modern, clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable to drive. The prices were reasonable, with no hidden fees or pressure to purchase unnecessary extras. I also appreciated that the deposit was refunded immediately after returning the vehicle. I highly recommend this company, and Alamo will definitely be my first choice whenever I need to hire a car again.

  I scratched a tire just a bit and they charged me £100 for that! The damage was irrelevant, had no effect on performance, only visually. It's a stupid policy to charge a new tire price for such a small damage. Never renting here again...

  Just returned from a 1500 mile roadtrip around Scotland using a car from Alamo Edinburgh Waverly Station. The Enterprise/Alamo team made the whole experience easy and painless. I'd like to call out Lucy and Matthew who were incredibly friendly and helpful. When picking up the car, Lucy was happy to let me assess and record the condition of the car before signing the paperwork. She was patient and understanding and she asked if I wanted any extra cover but didn't pressure me in any way. I was given a near new Mercedes Benz GLB which carried us and all of our luggage all over Scotland in safety and comfort. When returning the car, Matthew was attentive and reassuring. I told him that during a ferry crossing the car reported detecting a collision though we could see no damage. Matthew confirmed that cars often mistake motion on ferries for collisions. He checked the car thoroughly before confirming everything was in order. My deposit was returned instantly. I felt compelled to write this review because my experience was very different to many of the other reviews here and I wanted to recognise the service that had a major positive influence on our Scottish roadtrip!
