- JJJJul 13, 20261.0Absolute shambles from this company. Car booked in for 10am, arrived and this was fine thankfully as I’ve seen bookings with them just vanish previously. However the slot was triple booked, not surprised looking at previous reviews. Seems so common that you’d thinking they’d keep on top of informing customers before they arrive. I let them have the next 7hrs to work on the car to arrive and find they’d changed the rear tyres instead of the fronts which were both on cords. Even if the rears were booked you’d think you’d get maybe a “oh by the way you need front tyres asap” for obvious reasons. Managed to squeeze me in to rectify this the next day, however this is now costing me even more in transport. So the following day they dig out the removed rear tyres to replace the fronts on cords (This is all very confusing for the girl on reception). They swap over the front & back wheels to the brand new tyres are on the front finally. Job was done promptly in the morning, and gave me a ring as I asked. However, my black wheels have blatantly obvious chrome spacers. The fronts are 10mm & rears are 15mm. The next day I took once glance at the rear and could tell it wasn’t right, the spacers had been switched one side but not the other side. So I had to jack it up at home and get the spacers switched over and checked the bolts which revealed the shorter bolts had been used with the bigger spacer. This is very dangerous and I’ve had bad experience with bolts being 5mm too short previously. I was wondering why the car was shaking joining the m60 from Cheadle at 70mph. Very very unsafe. Additionally, to balance the wheels they just added their own weights instead of removing what was already there and starting from 0. Surprised they didn’t scuff my alloys near the bolts if I’m honest as I know they’ve done before with this exact make & model of alloy on someone else’s car not too long ago. Obviously they denied it.

- HBHannah BaleMay 22, 20261.0Very disappointed, my car was in for an MOT and full service in Feb first had a phone call the afternoon before it was booked in to tell me my service wasn't going to be done even though I paid in full online because it was double booked and told by staff it wasn't his fault he was only ringing to tell me, after a phone call to head office both were then done , However I have had problems with my car since and the engine light repeatedly comes on and my car wasn't moving on the motorway and was billowing smoke from exhaust , I was looking where to take my car and I found Gaz had moved to Pinacle in Stockport so asked if he could take a look only to find that they had not fitted the air filter back on my car at all it had just been left hanging off, not impressed at all clearly rushed my service and I will definitely not be taking my car back there, Protyre I hope you get in touch as I want a refund on my service as it was not completed properly, you left a part unfitted, please dont take you car here go and see Gaz at Pinacle highly recommend, my car has now been fixed today and drives like a dream Thanks Gaz and Pinacle

Where our team members will need entry to your vehicle please can you ensure it is clean inside with no items laying where our team may need to be, such as foot wells. This will minimise contact with surfaces, helping keep everyone safe.

Our garage is open Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:30, and on Saturdays from 08:30 to 16:00. We are closed on Sundays.
