- SPShel PeelAug 1, 20261.0I would not recommend this garage. I took my car to selecta tyre in May thinking I had a slow puncture. To then be called and told I needed my tracking doing and 3 new tyres, which instantly made me question it as my car had an MOT with no advisories 8 weeks previous to this (how could it need 3 tyres) so I asked them what needed to be done that couldn't wait to which I was told 2 tyres and tracking which I agreed for them to do but was told the 3rd wheel would need doing in a few months as it was starting to crack. I have taken my car to a different garage this week to be told my tyres are fine and there is nothing wrong with them. So glad I didn't go ahead with the original quoted work selecta tyre advised and makes me wonder what did they originally charge me for that didn't need doing.

Tried to rip me off for a ridiculously high quote for a bolt stuck in one of my tyres; claiming other things needed doing, such as all my tyres for a grand. Went to a different garage in Bollington and they removed the bolt for a simple £32. Avoid Selecta.

Where our team members will need entry to your vehicle please can you ensure it is clean inside with no items laying where our team may need to be, such as foot wells. This will minimise contact with surfaces, helping keep everyone safe.
