I needed to hire a car while my own car was being repaired after an accident. The team at Crewe were brilliant and made sure I was confident and happy before I drove away in one of their hire cars. Cannot fault them.

Process was simple and quick staff at Crewe were friendly and efficient. Will use them again
Staff use a upselling tactic into scaring you to purchase additional cover of £35. Example given if another driver hits the wing mirror you would be charged anywhere from £2,000 to £4000. As the vehicle would be off the road for up to two days. Ironically the vehicle's driver side mirror was missing part of it when picked up, vehicle was not cleaned with straw and dirt in the back from previous person, air pressure sensor issue and the handle was broken on the loading door. You’d think with the extra cover payed you’d get a vehicle that was up to standard.
This was our first time renting a car, and we were extremely satisfied with the entire experience. The vehicle provided was very new, the pick-up and drop-off process was punctual and smooth, and the car was exceptionally clean and well-maintained.
All of the staff members were friendly, professional, and proactive in offering assistance, which made the whole experience pleasant and hassle-free.
We would especially like to commend Jamie for his outstanding service. He was warm, patient, and approachable throughout the process. His explanations were clear and thorough, and he demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise. Jamie’s excellent customer service left a lasting impression on us and greatly enhanced our rental experience.

We booked a mini bus for a family trip to London, we arranged collection for midday today. On arrival at midday there were several customers all waiting to collect vehicles. We couldn't see a mini bus onsite, but assumed it was round the back out of view. It took 30 minutes to be served. The lady confirmed she would bring the vehicle round for us, my husband double checked that the vehicle was available, she confirmed it was, so I left to return home. Unfortunately, the vehicle wasnt there at all, it was still 3 hours away & wouldn't arrive until after the store had closed. We are due to leave for London first thing tomorrow morning. My husband asked for a full refund & a lift home as he was now stranded, they confirmed this wasn't possible. They offered him a 7 seater with 20% discount, he declined explaining they had broken our contract with them. The lady agreed to give a 50% discount but said it would require approval from head office. We now have a 7 seater we didn't want & have heard nothing else about the refund. Awful service from start to finish!
