  AVOID!! We were given a faulty car at Green motion Dubrovnik which was dangerous to drive; wheel alignment was way off (see video), the car shuddered around bends, no washer fluid, windscreen wipers broken (see video) during rainstorm which was extremely dangerous. No answer or response to multiple emails or calls or messages. Absolutely appalling. Upon returning the vehicle they tried to claim it was our fault for not conducting our own intricate motor assessment? Upon returning the car they simply shrugged and said it is an old car. Please be safe and do not book here, it is not safe. We had to wait 2 hours for a car to be available to pick up. NOTE::: I am copying my review here as there is no response whatsoever in the complaints process. Green Motion I will not stop until u get a response.

  Vehicle broke down, and I was advised by their breakdown service to email the branch to request a callback (!). The agent who replied an hour later advised me to drive the vehicle back to swap it out. Brilliant suggestion, why didn't I think of driving the car with a fuel gauge registering as empty and broken wing mirrors 3.5 hours back to Heathrow on a bank holiday Sunday? Sarcasm, obviously. Telling a customer to drive a vehicle with a broken fuel gauge is grossly negligent and downright dangerous. With no way of knowing how much fuel is actually in the tank, you risk being stranded on a motorway or hard shoulder, putting yourself and other road users at serious risk. No responsible company should ever advise this. They then suggested I get the vehicle towed, and when I asked what I was supposed to do without a car, they didn't respond. I raised a dispute with their in-house mediation team and, surprise surprise, they ruled in favour of this dangerously negligent franchisee because "Staff at branch are also unable to be on the emails continuously" and "We can see you were offered to bring back into branch to exchange, and would not deem a faulty fuel gauge to prevent this." Easy for them to say. I have since escalated the matter by raising a dispute with the BVRLA. By the way, if anyone from Green Motion responds to dispute this series of events, I will edit this review to reproduce in full the entire email chain.

  Having had a good experience of the rental itself, trying to get my deposit back has been a nightmare, and has to date taken 3 months without resolution. No reason given why it has not been returned. Had to raise a dispute with my credit card provider. Sad because as I said the rental experience itself was good.

  Your Luton branch needs an overhaul, I have worked innHR for years but what I heard today takes the mick. I called because a tyre had deflated on one of there rental vehicles. Asked him what to do, he said use the puncher repair kit in the boot, I said how and this ignoramus said u popped it you fix it!?!?!?! If this is who you have running your branch or just working but u need to fire them. I am now paying to get it sorted I will not replace it with the same u will get a cheap one put on just like the cheap service I received.

  Experienced terrible service from this company in Edinburgh Scotland. I was refused a fully paid and available rental car for one single policy that drivers license must show issue date and able to validate minimum 2 years of driving experience. As I am an Australian tourist and drivers license does not have issue date I was refused a car. This is despite able to show insurance certificates that can easily show. I have many years of comprehensive car insurance under my name. This resulted in me needed to rent car from another company and incurred additional costs (£450) not to mention the anxiety. I have also lost my paid amount through booking.com. Quite poor experience and outcome.
