The Cambridge Performance Tyres - Team Protyre was acquired by Protyre in 2007 along with the centre at Stortford. Originally setup to serve the performance tyre community it is located off Cherry Hinton Road on the Clifton Road Industrial Estate. The Cambridge Performance Tyre centre is a Pirelli Platinum performance centre, the highest rating that can be achieved and is also a Michelin accredited location. As well as providing tyres from leading brands including Bridgestone, Continental, Goodyear Dunlop and GT Radial. Customer demand has meant that a mobile tyre fitting service has been introduced allowing customers to have new tyres fitted at home or work and for us to deal with tyre emergencies.
Today Cambridge Performance Tyres - Team Protyre undertakes all types of mechanical and servicing work, diagnostics, MOTs, replacing brakes, batteries, exhausts and has a state of the art laser wheel alignment system. The centre also recharges air-conditioning systems.

Awful customer service, they thought it was appropriate to use jargon to tell me what was wrong with my car when I was stood in front of them all on my own surrounded by mechanics. When challenged and told to explain to me in terms I understand they seemed shocked that a woman had stood up for herself!! Places like this are why garages get bad press. Don't talk down to anyone, especially women. Avoid.

Less impressive was the speed he drove my car across the empty car park, when he saw I was watching he told his foot was too big to go on the brake without hitting the accelerator. I won't be rushing back.
