- AHAndy HallAug 14, 20261.0Ordered a premium SUV for our weeks holiday. Was told on the morning of collection, and only an hour and half before collection, that the car we had booked was not available. First time I have hired a car and had a downgrade. Hired a premium for a reason, a long journey with a disabled person on board. Not once did any of the guys I spoke to offer an apology. The best I got was "well I am sorry you feel that way". Apparently, they phoned around the local, and not so local branches, to get us the car, or at least similar, to booked. That wasted 2 hours. Still had to take a car that was a lesser spec and nowhere near as comfortable or we wouldnt have been going on holiday. Over a week after returning and I am still waiting for the refund of the difference to get to my bank. I just know I am gonna have to be chasing this as well. Really poor service and they didn't seem overly bothered as they knew I had no option but to continue with the rental. Even upon returning the car i had to ask for a refund of the difference, plus a bit of compensation as it wasnt even mentioned. They really dont seem bothered to have satisfied customers.I would only use again if I didn't care about the car I got or customer service!

I suggested it might be helpful if he did that for us. Can’t be bothered to write the rest but essentially not a great experience. We asked for money back and they were helpful in that 7-10 days wait! Avoid if you can 😔
