  Completely disappointed in the service especially Foxton. This is the third hire we had from them and each time we’ve had a problem. This time the rep didn’t walk around the van. Gave us the keys and sent us on our way. Hid the fact there was a fault with the engine. So then moving our stuff we could only get to 45mph on the motorway. Called and said to bring it back but we had a van of stuff. Said they could give us another van which was fine but we were again not given a walk around just handed the keys. Upon return I was told our deposit would come back- over a week later it’s still not back. We have raised concerns and the same guy in Foxton put the phone down on my girlfriend after talking to her like rubbish and calling her a liar. Really shoddy service and still £200 down. Do not use

  It needs to be said. The guys are great here and helpful enough. But I'd called a week earlier asking if there was onsite parking so I could leave my car and take a van. The guy said you can't park here but there's plenty of on street parking. So I get there at 9am... it's behind a filling station with signs everywhere warning 'No Parking... and it's on a road equivalent to the A1. It's fast moving traffic and no on road parking. You have to park half a mile away outside someone's house on a street with no lighting. I can't knock the service and I won't. I can knock the parking and I have.

  Avoid Enterprise if you value your money and your time Absolutely appalling customer service. I would not recommend Enterprise to anyone. I rented a vehicle from Enterprise and, following a recovery incident, £1,750 was taken/retained from me. I subsequently spoke to Enterprise directly and was told that the £1,750 would be reimbursed to my card, minus the genuine recovery cost, once they received the AA recovery report. Importantly, Enterprise confirmed this in writing. I have the email to prove it. That was on 7 September 2026. Fast-forward four weeks, and I am STILL waiting for my money. Every time I contact Enterprise, I am given essentially the same excuse: “We haven’t received the AA report.” So I contacted AA myself. AA confirmed that the report had already been sent to Enterprise. At this point, the situation is beyond frustrating. Enterprise is holding £1,750 of my money, and I am being forced to repeatedly chase them for a refund that they have already acknowledged I am entitled to receive, while they apparently cannot even locate a report that AA confirms was sent. I have called, emailed and spoken to them in person. Instead of actually resolving the problem, I keep getting passed around and told to wait. How can a company hold £1,750 of a customer’s money for four weeks and still not be able to provide a straight answer about where it is? The worst part is that Enterprise has already confirmed in writing that my understanding of the refund was correct. Yet despite this, nothing has been resolved. This isn’t just poor customer service — it shows a complete lack of urgency and accountability when dealing with a substantial amount of a customer’s money. I am now having to formally escalate the complaint and pursue the appropriate external channels simply to get Enterprise to return money they have already agreed should be reimbursed. Think very carefully before renting from Enterprise. The rental itself may be fine, but if something goes wrong, don’t expect the resolution process to be straightforward. £1,750. Four weeks. Multiple calls. Multiple emails. AA says the report was sent. Enterprise still hasn’t resolved it.

  Although the van I hired suffered a terminal breakdown the attentive staff at Foxton and Winchester resolved the issue in a professional and timely manner.
