    Trying to organise a hire car after my car was hit. Have been on phone an hour and a half trying to get through. Have spoken to the online chat who can’t help and can’t contact the branch direct (they’ve sent an email, but can’t be sure when it will get picked up) How can I arrange for my car to be picked up if I can’t arrange for a car to be dropped off. Terrible service - would not recommend

    I rented a car and luckily I took all the photos of the tyres. While returning the car, during inspection I was told that I damaged the tyre which you can see in the photo attached. However the damage was from before and I did show the inspector the proof and then he agreed It was not my fault. For those who are renting, I would suggest please take all photos and videos as you might face the same situation like me, where they say the microscopic damage is after renting as It will not be spotted unless you carry microscope with you during initial renting inspection and signing the contract.

    We recently hired a peugeot 5008 Hybrid for 4 days. Everything was very smooth starting from day 1. They charged £456 for 4 days which was fair. The car was brand new and very cleaned. My family really enjoyed and felt very comfortable during journey. All the staff were very friendly n helpful. They even refunded £15 for the extra fuel. Overall we were very happy. Thank you again

    We booked and paid for a hire car for the weekend, with pick up from 8am on the Friday because we had to go to Cornwall to meet family for my nephew's 1st birthday and were meeting family for lunch. It took me 30mins to get from home to St George to collect the car, and I arrived at 08:03, having already checked in online to speed up collection. However, on arrival I was told that there was NO CAR available for us. At all. But that there would be one by 4pm, or *maybe* before. They said they tried to call me, but only about 1min before I arrived. I asked if there were any at the Cabot Circus branch, and whether we could move our booking over. They said maybe, but I'd need to call them myself. I tried to call them, but nobody answered the phone, and the branch at St George did not offer to call on my behalf. So I went home to wait for the call that MIGHT be before 4pm. Upon getting home, we decided that we couldn't risk waiting until 4pm because we would miss the family lunch, and because we were travelling with a toddler and didn't want to travel that late in the day. So instead I rang Switch car rental, who were brilliant and sorted us right out (and I would highly recommend as an alternative). In the meantime, I phoned enterprise to cancel our booking at sort a refund. Took me FOREVER to get through to a person, lots of the options seemed to just ring out and never get answered. Eventually I got through, and someone said they would put our refund through. But we didn't receive any sort of confirmation email to say that the booking was cancelled and the refund was being processed. So today I rang back (again it took ages to get through), and someone said they would check for me. After being on hold for ages, they said they weren't sure if it was being processed, so they had "re-escalated" the request, but it would still be 10 business days for it to be refunded. So clearly re-escalated does not mean they apply any sort of urgency to the situation. I requested a confirmation email to say it was being processed, but was told they were "unable" to do that. Which I can't understand, as most companies send confirmation that the refund is being processed, even if it still takes 10 days. So I guess I just have to trust that it's being processed? Even though the have given me no reason to do so. TL:DR Enterprise are awful, do not use them if you want any sort of guarantee of service.
