Kwikfit said they checked my tyre at 50psi and couldn't find anything so they just told me to keep an eye on it even though I said I kept losing pressure whenever I'd go over 60mph.
My friend Gemini said they wouldn't find leaks due to centrifugal force by doing static tests, and recommended I take it to independent specialists Adams & Page.
It took them just 10 minutes to find the cause being a broken and loose valve. They quickly changed it and charged reasonably.
If I ever have problems again I'll definitely be coming here.

Very disappointing and costly experience.
I paid Adams & Page £84 for a four-wheel alignment on my Audi A5 and more than £40 separately to balance all four wheels.
When I later removed two wheels, I found that the bolts had been tightened very inconsistently. Several would not release until i used a breaker bar for long time and power, which was supposed to be torqued at 120Nm. Removing them caused unnecessary physical strain and back pain, and I was seriously concerned about damaging the bolts.
More importantly, I have now discovered severe wear on the inner edge of one tyre, while the rest of the tread still has noticeably more depth, as shown in the photograph. After paying for a four-wheel alignment, this is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about whether the alignment was completed accurately. I now have to buy a replacement tyre and pay another garage to inspect and correct the alignment.
Although a photograph alone cannot conclusively prove the exact cause of the wear, the severe inner-edge damage combined with the inconsistent wheel-bolt tightness has left me with no confidence in the standard of their work.
I have lost useful tyre life and incurred unnecessary physical effort, wasted time and further expense. I am extremely upset and disappointed with this service and cannot recommend Adams & Page for wheel balancing or alignment. I expect them to investigate properly and cover my reasonable costs, i have booked with audi dealership to investigate it.
