I don't usually do reviews BUT on this occasion I felt it's necessary,I was greeted by an employee called Megan/Meghan (sorry if spelt wrong)she looked around the car and asked if I had any issues regarding the vehicle etc,I explained I had one little issue regarding the air pump and that I had been to the branch a few days back to raise the issue that the air hose was missing, was told to go to the petrol station if I need air instead of a replacement? I would have been stranded if I had needed it and in the middle of nowhere, Meghan is a credit to enterprise and a true example for other employees to follow as she apologised in behalf of enterprise and also for my bad experience also credited me on top of my deposit something which I didn't ask for and shows she knows how to deal with customer relations, wants the customer to be satisfied with their rental and if satisfied they'll want to return again, sorry for the long review but I felt it was necessary that if someone received excellent customer service by an employee that it's only fair that employee should be recognised for it!

Over promised under-delivered. TLDR: I was repeatedly promised a small, non-SUV automatic vehicle which was not delivered - and led to my insurance company cancelling this reservation.
Full Review:
• Wednesday 17th June - my insurance company made a booking with Enterprise Stirchley for a small, automatic vehicle (whilst our mini cooper was being repaired). I phoned enterprise the same day, and made it clear that the vehicle must be small (non-SUV) and automatic - as my partner was uncomfortable driving large, manual vehicles. I was assured on the phone that this would NOT be an issue that they would be able to source an automatic vehicle the same day. However, when I called back the same afternoon - I was informed that they had unfortunately been unable to source a vehicle - and asked if I could come tomorrow instead. This wasn't a massive issue - because I accepted that this had been a same-day request.
• Thursday 18th June - Enterprise confirmed that they had now sourced a small, automatic (non-SUV) vehicle and asked me to pick the vehicle up at 4pm. After queuing for approximately 30 minutes (and completing all the relevant paperwork) I was informed that the vehicle (Mazda 3) had infact been "misclassified" and was actually a "manual". The team apologized and gave me the option of either:
A) Taking the "manual" Mazda today and swapping it out the next day for a similar-sized automatic vehicle OR
B) Taking home a much larger automatic SUV vehicle.
Neither option was suitable for my partner - however I selected Masza as it was ready to go and I'd be swapping the vehicle in < 24 hours. Once again I was apologized to and repeatedly promised that on Friday they would definitely provide a small, non-SUV automatic vehicle suitable for my partner.
• Friday 19th June - I phoned enterprise again to confirm what time I could swap my rental car. However, this time I was informed that they could ONLY had an automatic SUV vehicle (and this was in fact the only type of automatic vehicle they have stock at all). This was extremely disappointing, as it contradicted what I was previously promised, multiple times (both over the phone and in person). I contacted my insurance company - and explained the situation. The insurance company cancelled my reservation with Enterprise and provided an alternative solution. I returned the unsuitable car to enterprise the same day.
Overall - this is a story of EXTREMELY poor communication and REPEATED failed promises. If enterprise had stated from the start of this process - that they only stocked SUV-style, automatic vehicles - this would have been a non-issue. In this scenario - our insurance company would simply have sourced a courtesy vehicle from a different company. However, the repeated false promises meant that I wasted two afternoons picking up and returning an unsuitable vehicle. This was really poor customer service.

Had a Mercedes Sprinter Van for four days for a house move.
It was fantastic. Automatic with reversing on screen viewer. Loads of safety features. A joy to drive.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend.
Over several rentals, I have been disappointed by the standard of vehicles provided by this branch. On multiple occasions, cars have been supplied in a condition that I would not expect from Enterprise, including vehicles that were dirty, had unpleasant odours, or even slow punctures.
The incident that prompted this review involved a vehicle that was both unclean and smelled strongly of cannabis. Following my complaint, I was offered a discount on a future rental and asked not to leave a review. However, when I later attempted to use the discount, I was informed that there was no record of it and was effectively treated as though I was being dishonest because I did not have the agreement in writing.
This experience has taught me the importance of obtaining written confirmation of any promises or goodwill gestures when dealing with this branch. As a result, I now use a different Enterprise branch for both my personal and business rentals.

Easy to do everything online, pricing structure was clear, range of vehicles was good, customer service was fine.
However, the online early check-in wasn't very effective, as I was asked a series more questions on arrival at Enterprise to collect the vehicle, which could have been part of the online form, such as emergency contact details, etc.
I also opted for excess protection from Enterprise for £45 per day which reduced the excess to £250, but I only found out after returning the van that this can be purchased from a third-party provider for £5 per day, and would reduce the excess to zero.
Absolute swizz and con that Enterprise don't make you aware of this at the time of booking; preying on people who aren't aware and a captive audience at time of purchase. I can only implore everyone to do their research on this.
If I were to rent from Enterprise again, I would get third party excess protection instead of opting for the expensive and inferior offer from Enterprise.
Apart from that the van was great, did everything I needed it to do.
