He collected my car and was extremely polite, professional, and helpful throughout the process. He made everything smooth and stress-free, and his friendly attitude was greatly appreciated.   Great service,van pre booked and although it seemed like the world had turned up all at one to hire vehicles the staff were great and handled it very professionally,the vehicle I had was fine and I was talked through where this and that was before driving away. Well done the staff, brilliant service.

  Full of teenagers with hormones spilling all over the gaff, flirting instead of helping customers waiting. Blonde young uni girl with awful customer service so very clearly does not want to be there, what a mess. Pay your staff more so you won’t get uninterested freshers at your desk

  I was disappointed with my recent experience at the Enterprise Birmingham branch. Despite having a booking, I was initially told there was no van available. As I urgently needed one, the staff eventually agreed to provide a van for a few hours, on the condition that I returned it by 8:30am the following morning. Unfortunately, the vehicle handover was not properly carried out. Existing damage was not reviewed with me, and I was not given the opportunity to complete a walk-around inspection. I also noticed a driving-assist error on the dashboard, which could have indicated an issue with the vehicle, but this was not logged or discussed with me either. I accept that I made the rookie mistake of not taking photographs myself, as I was simply relieved to have a van. I returned the vehicle the following morning after only driving on the motorway, only to be informed of damage, which I disputed. My deposit was subsequently withheld, and I was asked to pay £2,300 as the excess. I did not make this payment as I intend to appeal the charge. I would like to add that, apart from this issue, the customer service was good and professional. The staff member did not directly accuse me of causing the damage, which I appreciated. Nevertheless, the overall experience was disappointing and not one I enjoyed.

  ⭐ Extremely disappointing experience — Enterprise Birmingham I booked a car with Enterprise for 10:00am and arrived early at 9:30am, expecting a straightforward collection. Instead, after taking my deposit, I was told that there was no car available. Enterprise then arranged for their driver to take me to their Solihull branch, which I appreciated at the time and assumed would resolve the problem. Unfortunately, it only got worse. When I arrived at Solihull, the car they offered me was dirty and had soiled seats. I was then asked whether I would accept a smaller, downgraded vehicle. Seriously? I had booked a car, arrived on time, paid my deposit, and was now being offered a dirty car and a downgrade — after being sent to another branch because Enterprise couldn't provide the vehicle I had booked. By this point, I had already lost a considerable amount of time and missed an important appointment/part of my planned travel. I therefore decided to cancel the entire four-day rental. I eventually made my way back to the Birmingham branch, almost two hours after I had originally arrived. And here's the most frustrating part: once I made a fuss, I was suddenly offered an upgrade to a larger vehicle. So my question to Enterprise is very simple: Why couldn't you have offered me the upgrade at 10:00am when I was standing in your Birmingham branch? Why take my deposit, tell me there is no car, send me to Solihull, show me a dirty vehicle and suggest a downgrade, only to offer a larger vehicle after I had wasted nearly two hours and missed my plans? I want to acknowledge that Alex at the Birmingham branch was helpful and ultimately refunded my deposit and cancelled the booking. The driver who took me to Solihull was also courteous. But the overall experience was completely unacceptable. The issue wasn't simply that there was no car available — problems happen. The issue was the poor communication, lack of sensible problem-solving and complete disregard for the time I had already lost. I booked a car for four days. Instead, Enterprise gave me a two-hour tour between Birmingham and Solihull, a dirty car, a proposed downgrade and a missed appointment. For a company of Enterprise's size and reputation, this was an astonishingly poor level of service. I will think twice before using Enterprise again.This version is deliberately scathing but factual, which is usually much more effective on Google than simply calling them incompetent or dishonest.
