  They have vans and cars for hire. Staff are friendly and competent. Pickup process still painful - even though the booking already has all your details. Anyway, it is what it is.

  Can't recommend this branch enough, have made van rentals seamless and are stand up guys that genuinely try and look after you. Special mention to Harry, Kwan, Ben and Louis who have all served me well and made renting a breeze. Best rental place I've worked with by a country mile in any country

  Great service, even when busy. Had the vehicle I booked ready to go when I arrived. Policies are clear and concise, collection was simple and the vehicle was exactly as expected. Return was equally smooth, no funny business about damages, fuel etc, just ensure you follow the policy and there will be no issues. Staff were very helpful and polite. Would definitely use their services again.

  I rented a VW Crafter from this branch for a two-day rental and was extremely disappointed with how a damage claim was handled. After returning the van, I was charged £165.96 (£87.96 for the tyre and a £78 administration fee). My concern is not that Enterprise has a policy of replacing tyres with sidewall damage, but how liability for the damage was attributed to me. When I first queried the damage, I was told the tyre would be inspected by a qualified technician before a decision was made. When I later contacted the branch again, I was told no such inspection would take place because they did not have a tyre technician. The Damage Recovery Unit subsequently confirmed that Enterprise's policy is to replace any tyre with sidewall damage rather than carry out a technical assessment. I repeatedly asked what evidence Enterprise relied upon to conclude that the passenger rear tyre was undamaged before I collected the van and that the damage occurred during my rental. Despite several emails, I was not provided with any pre-rental photographs or inspection record specifically showing the condition of that tyre. Instead, I received explanations of Enterprise's general inspection process and company policy. The staff I dealt with were polite throughout, but I was disappointed by the handling of the claim and the lack of evidence provided to support liability in my specific case. Based on my experience, I would not rent from this branch again.

  I rented a car from this location in Bath and returned the car to Heathrow Airport. The gas car we reserved was not available so they put us in an E-vehicle, which added a challenging element to our travels as we had to seek out chargers that are harder to come by in the countryside. The car we were given was NOT charged (30%) and NOT cleaned at all. There were crumbs and dirt all over the front and back seats. Clearly Bath Enterprise had not done an inspection of the car before handing it over to us. The car was also between large Enterprise vans making it very difficult for us to conduct our inspection of the car and required us to wait for all the vehicles blocking us to be moved. The staff was very pushy with the insurance policies and add-on fees, which made us uncomfortable. They insist that if ANY damage is done to the car you're responsible for the excess value (upwards of $1500). When we returned the car to Heathrow they pointed out small scratches on the underside of the front bumper. We did not hit anything during our time with the car and had not seen it during our initial inspection given we would have had to get on our hands and knees to see it. We were also told to inspect for large dents, we've rented plenty of cars that had minor scratches in the past - that's just how it goes with rental cars typically. Heathrow Enterprise said they would contact Bath Enterprise to see photos of the car to confirm we had not done this damage. Bath did not provide any photos and without any notification to us, we were charged the full excess of the car (1,500 pounds). In calling the Damage Recovery Unit, they said it is not Bath's responsibility to take photos, it's the renter's and refused to accept any responsibility for trying to scam us out of money. There was clearly no inspection done by Bath as evidenced by the state of the inside of the car and low battery charge and as confirmed by the damage recovery agent who said it's not Bath's responsibility to inspect their vehicles prior to renting... The damages identified (not caused by us) would NOT have amounted to nearly the amount we were charged as well. Their policies are predatory and designed to take advantage of travelers and pocket money that won't be used to repair vehicles of minor damages. We are incredibly dissatisfied with our experience and with the damage repair customer service agents and I implore anyone to avoid renting with Enterprise UK or heed extreme caution if renting with this company.
