  The EV was only on 21% when I picked it up. We were going on a special weekend break with my sons, prior to my knee operation on Monday 3rd August 2026. I queried the 21% charge at pickup and was told it is not policy to have it fully charged prior to hire. On the way to the M4, it dropped ti 11 % and battery light flashed. I had to find a quick charge station which took a while, then take my sons in for a meal, this cost me about £65 before we even got on the motorway! As a result we didnt get to my brothers house in Wales until 3pm. And ended up checking in to our hotel after 6pm. This whole thing ruined the start of our 2 day holiday. Im very disappointed. I wanted to give my sons an EV car experience and put less strain on my knee before the operation. The actual car was lovely to drive, but petrol stations are close by and everywhere. I think your EV cars should be at least 50 to 80 % charged at pickup, and my brother and friends all agree. Ive asked Enterprise Bath for compensation for ruining my weekend away. I was a photographer and jounalist, and im considering doing a local and national feature about this issue. So people are aware. Your counter staff were good, the car was good, but the electric charge status at pickup is a big red mark. Yours Stuart Woodward Bath

  Very smooth pick up, car was new only 400 miles on the clock, Mazda cx 30 SUV. Lovely to drive, immaculate. Thankfully I was able to return it in the same condition. Assistant did a quick check over and agreed all was good. Absolutely best car hire ever. I picked it up in Bath. It's a little out of the way but I had a pleasant walk along the canal from the city centre.

  Terribale do not use CarJet I rented a car through the website. They tuck the booking and the payment, I recived Zero information after booking, once booked it said it was with one car company Alamo, then another. I finally got some info to make sure I had a car was booked on a message forum. Zero email to confirm my booking from carjet or alamo or enterprise zero phone call nothing. I got to the car place that I had to find under a different car service company. Then they messed up the payment and I could not rent my car and now carjet wont give me a refund or credit. Do not use them go direct to the car rental company.
