  The team at Aberdeen Sixt offer some of the best customer service I have ever received. The turnaround is quick and efficient and the cars are always immaculate. Strongly recommend.

  Two words of advice: DON’T BOTHER. Sixt Aberdeen is by far the worst rental company I have dealt with in around 15 years of renting cars from various companies. My experience has left me extremely disappointed with both their pricing practices and their handling of alleged vehicle damage. I declined Sixt’s additional insurance and was subsequently presented with a damage claim that I strongly dispute. The whole experience has left me with serious concerns about how damage claims are handled, particularly when customers rely on their own insurance. Their handling of payment was just as frustrating. I was given a very short deadline to pay while my insurance claim was still being processed. Sixt then agreed to extend that deadline to give my insurer time to finalize the case — yet they went ahead and took the money from my account anyway. I was also uncomfortable with some of the seemingly friendly questions asked during the rental process about whether I was local or visiting. Given what happened afterwards, it certainly did not leave me with a good impression. And I’m clearly not the only customer who has had concerns. Read some of the other reviews regarding disputed damage charges, upgrades that customers believed were free but were subsequently charged for, and other unexpected costs. There has also previously been a multimillion-dollar class-action settlement involving Sixt and allegations concerning damage charges. I would strongly recommend researching that history for yourself. After my experience, my advice is simple: DON’T BOTHER. Find an alternative rental company. It simply isn’t worth the hassle.

  Really great experience with SIXT. The whole process was quick, easy and exactly as explained on the website. Josh who we dealt with at Aberdeen was really great- it was pouring with rain and he brought the car to the door for us. Super friendly and helpful. There's a lot to be said for customer service. Previously we've hired with Alamo at Aberdeen however SIXT would now be our preferred choice based solely on the fantastic customer service from Josh. Well Done SIXT.

  I would give this location a 0 if it was an option. Showed at the Rental counter was assisted by a Rep named Josh. We were quite content with the vehicle we reserved as we had the same vehicle in Ireland. Josh was insistent that we take a FREE upgrade. Not one to argue with a freebie we agreed. He assured us it was free and gave all of his contact info if there was a dispute. Now 3 weeks after the return, we DID GET CHARGED for the upgrade. The real disappointment with this company is their Customer Service. Multiple attempts, sent to 2nd level. 2nd level can't do anything without the branch approving. (why is there a 2nd level?) 2nd level said they tried to reach the branch by emai but they arent responding. Interesting?! I suggested they call the branch would probably be quicker. 2nd level said they can only communicate by email. They have no problem taking an extra $300 from me fraudulently and greater difficulty giving it back. AVOID THIS COMPANY/LOCATION
