After I left, upon returning back to work, I received a credit card charge notification that I had an additional $24 charge at Zips. I have attempted to contact the business six times, both via phone and email, providing all requested documentation. I also drove out to Watkinsville to discuss and they instructed me to call the corporate number, which I told them I already had. Corporate told me I had to request a refund at the time of the charge, however, the unauthorized charge did NOT take place until I was off the premises. I simply want my $24 charge (that I did NOT authorize) refunded. No one is willing to help and they keep sending me back and forth. This company does not care about their customers and they are thieves for making unauthorized charges on customers’ cards. Watch out, Watkinsville! There are plenty of other honest car wash options around town; don’t put your finances at risk by going to Zips.
