I ordered a new drain plug for delivery, because it's not safe to drive my truck low on oil, and the store sent the wrong part. It clearly isn't the part I ordered. I contacted the customer service chat and they said I have to go in store to return the item they screwed up! I explained I can't drive my truck without oil and the service rep didn't care and said I'm only eligible for a warranty return. How do you screw up and expect the customer to fix it themselves! My family and I will not be buying from Advance Auto again.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
