    I visited the Advance Auto store at 4 pm yesterday evening to purchase a new battery. Prior to completing the purchase, I inquired with the sales associate, a Caucasian female, whether she was knowledgeable about properly replacing a battery. I posed this question three times before shutting off my truck's engine, after which I allowed the staff to replace the battery. However, they inadvertently caused additional issues, as they were unable to correctly install the new battery, and when they reconnected the old one, my truck failed to start. Another customer attempted to assist me, but we were unsuccessful in getting my truck to start. I requested a refund for the $222 I had spent on the battery, which led to a negative reaction from the staff. I remained calm and composed throughout the interaction. As I was unable to leave my vehicle unattended, I sat outside and waited for a tow truck, during which time I posted a review of my experience at the store. The same two Caucasian employees subsequently called the police, and an officer arrived with an attitude, stating that I needed to leave the premises as I had been banned at this point . I explained that I had not acted inappropriately and was simply waiting for a tow truck, as the staff had refused to assist me with the issue they had caused. The officer responded that he had heard their side of the story and that was sufficient, to which I replied that I was not leaving my property unattended. I expressed my concern that the treatment I received was due to my race. The officer became agitated, returned to the store, and then came back to inform me that he could not provide me with the employees' information but that I needed to take further action regarding the matter. The experience was marked by unprofessionalism, a lack of assistance, and inadequate knowledge of vehicles, culminating in a refusal to rectify the issue they had caused. It is evident that the store requires new personnel thats not racist and with greater experience.

    I bought a couple of things, the receipt never arrived in my email and when I wanted to return them they didn't accept it because I didn't have a receipt

    Was left on hold for 25 minutes before I hung up. I even drove over there to see if they were busy. My car and one other car besides the delivery vehicles were the only ones in the parking lot and only one person at the counter. I used to work with Advance Auto so I know those phones make an annoying sound if you leave someone on hold for too long. Not sure what the problem was or if they just didn’t wanna work, but that’s ridiculous. 25 minute hold and they weren’t busy? Come on. So I drove down the road to O’Reillys and got what I needed, not wanting to deal with Advance
