- GCGinny CurryDec 27, 20252.0I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and typically I like to do things myself and my husband wasn’t with me so I kindly asked the gentleman working the counter if when he finished checking the man behind me out if he would mind coming out to help me put the wiper blade I purchased on the car only because it looked like it was going to rain. He told me he would and well after the guy behind me came out and the clerk did not I figured I was on my own. If this had been someone unable to take care of this they would have been in a mess. There is a big flyer outside that says they will install the wiper blades for you, seems I was an inconvenience and not a priority after I paid full price for the oil change bundle to include the filter which should have been free! Maybe auto zone will be a better choice next time😔

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
