  I was very please from beginning to end with the Union City location. The office staff and tech were very kind and repaired my window in the time promised. I would recommend.

  Service was easy to schedule as an insurance claim. However, I found out the next day that the windshield for my model and year would have been covered on an extended warranty from the dealer due to a class action lawsuit if I would have brought to the dealer. Insurance sole-soured this to Safelite, instead and the dealer said "too late"...so, I'm out my deductible. I hope adding wipers and water-repellant treatment isn't driving up insurance claims on what should not be covered expenses. After the warranty expired (3 yrs), I replace my wipers every fall and do Rain-X treatment as well for well under the extra $115, or so.

  Very friendly and inviting customer service, the drop off and pick up of my car was very smooth. My car was ready for pickup sooner than expected!! Thank you Safelite of Union City, keep up the great service!

  I initially opted for the home service with Safelite because of the convenience of the process. I work from home and oh boy was I excited to not have to go to the actual store and miss hours of work during the day. When the technician came out he brought with him a windshield that was scuffed and could not be fixed with a wiping of the windshield. He offered a discount for me to accept the imperfected glass. Being that I thought I was ordering a new windshield why would I accept an imperfect windshield. The technician then proceeded to tell me that they did not have the correct windshield and that if I could schedule for the next day at the store that they would have my glass ordered and ready to go at the agreed upon time slot. Again I work from home but for me the get that windshield repaired I accepted to leave home and inconviently disrupt my workday when the previous day should have been the actual install date. I arrived at my appointment and the technician took my keys and proceeded to place a new windshield on my car. Halfway home I noticed that the windshield was not the one that they had taken off of my car. After calling the location at least 8 times amd no one answered just a roll over answering machine with no agents to respond, I decided to turn around and go back to the facility. I explained the issue to the manager. He suggested that I keep the windshield that was put in and he would discount me one hundred dollars. However I want the windshield that was taken off of my car because it was shaded. So now I am waiting on Safelite to order the windshield that should have gone on my car. Not to mention that I was inconvenienced because I missed a day of work, because of the lack of detail that this whole debacle has been. I would suggest that if you want to waste your time, call Safelite. Otherwise go somewhere else. And the bribery to keep something that was not my fault that was the fault of the technician is beyond me. If anything I should be compensated for the time wasted and the inconvenience of this whole matter. This will be the 3rd attempt to try to get my windshield repaired. This was not an insurance repair it was an out of pocket repair. Do not do it. This place is not convenient nor detailed oriented. And they will try to offer you a discount for their own mistakes. Bad business and I will not be recommended in this place to anyone I know. I will however let people know that if they do not want their time wasted to please not go here.

  I would highly recommend using for your window replacements. I was so down about having my window broken out. I was able to get an appointment right away. I was dreading the glass clean up, but Chris the technician got all of the glass and I couldn’t be more grateful. Having your vehicle broken into feels very intrusive so to be able to have them make the process easy and quick made the world of difference. Thank you
