- JRJohn RobinsonJan 18, 20261.0Deceptive service- I arrived on Sat afternoon and was told that they only had mid grade and premium oil since they ran out of the cheapest that day. I was told that it would be $95 for an oil change. I do get the high mileage synthetic oil so that was what I have usually paid. I had four different individuals interact with me. I was asked if I wanted my air filter replaced by the manager I think. I said no thank and I would do that myself. He said that he would give "the deal of the century" and said that he would replace the filter for $9.95 and it normally costs $39.99. Again I said I would replace it myself. (Comparable filters run $5-15 at Advanced Auto). He then said "I feel like you don't trust me." I did not distrust him then but I do distrust him now. I did not review my bill until I got home a couple hours later and found that the oil service I was charged was $55 and an air filter for $40. I just changed the air filter myself ($5 from Advanced Auto and 10 minutes of my time) and it was not a new filter in the compartment. I had been using this business for several years, but I will not be going back. I did see one of the mechanics put oil into my engine, but I am not sure what kind of oil I got. Dishonesty or not paying attention to what the customers say are not a good business practices either way!
