They then told me I would have to spend almost $200 for a brand new tire. I then went to Raineys Alignment and Tire and they fixed it for $10. If you are a young female DO NOT GO HERE!

- TBTom BuschOct 17, 20255.0They may have saved my life! My boat trailer tire blew-out on 75 south yesterday morning. I was feeling frustrated, stressed, and a bit afraid. I removed the trailer tire and made my way towards Tifton Georgia. I stopped at another store and they could not help, but a staff member mentioned Mavis Tire and Brakes. So, I went to that exit and found the place right off the exit ramp. Went inside and had immediate help - very good price - and quick service. I was back to my boat in no time. Yet, I realized my other tire was worn on the inside and about to blow too. So, I went back there with my boat and they were about to install a replacement tire, but one of their staff members laid on the ground and noticed my boat axel was deeply cracked…thus the pivot on the tires and unnatural wear. Three of their guys came out on their own accord and helped me to strategize repair and replacement options. Boat axels are beyond their scope of work, but they were incredibly helpful, thoughtful, creative, and kind. It turns out, the axel was “hanging by a thread” and with 6 hours of driving ahead of me, it certainly would have snapped while driving on 75 south. What would have happened? Who could have been hurt? Would my boat have been destroyed? Anyway, it took the kind and detailed observations of their staff to keep me from possible tragedy. It would have been easy for them to throw on a new tire and send me on my way - but fortunately, they care! Special thanks to their whole team, specially George and Danny. I am truly grateful for your help.
