- BFBrittany Faith5 days ago1.0Sent my husband in there to price a part for my car and both managers treated him like garbage and I don’t appreciate it at all!!! My husband is a hard worker he applied for a job here didn’t qualify bc his driving record bc he had a couple traffic citations he forgot about! He’s human we aren’t perfect but how they just judged him and treated him horribly! All I gotta say is u shouldn’t be in management if u can’t treat your customers with respect! Do better advance🤦♀️
- CCCassey CowanJan 19, 20261.0The woman working there is so rude and unhelpful. I have always gotten great help when I have gone to this location. Unless it is with her. She is unhelpful and has a bad attitude. The first time I just thought she was having a bad day, we all have them, so I didn't say anything. Then shortly thereafter my sister-in-law had a run in with her as well. Today she was rude and downright nasty completely unprovoked. She wasn't wearing a name tag so i dont know a name. Still not exactly sure what I did that upset her so severely. But it could be a sign the retail is not the job for her

Does Advance Auto test and install batteries?
Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
