- BBBrit BDec 26, 20255.0I came into Mavis Tires extremely stressed. I had just picked my toddler up from daycare and noticed a nail stuck in my tire on my brand new car. My mind immediately went to worst-case scenario — having to replace the whole tire and deal with a big expense while trying to get my baby home safely. I stopped at Mavis hoping it was fixable, and thankfully it was. They checked the tire and were able to repair it with a plug or patch (I honestly don’t remember which one). Either way, it worked and held exactly like it should. The repair ended up costing around $30, which was a huge relief compared to what I was expecting to pay. Another big plus is that they’re open later than a lot of other places, which really mattered given the timing and the fact that I had my toddler with me. I didn’t have the option to leave my car overnight or come back another day. They didn’t try to upsell me, didn’t suggest unnecessary work, and didn’t make the situation more complicated than it needed to be. The process was straightforward and quick, which helped bring my stress level down fast. They fixed it quickly, charged about $30, and had me back on the road so I could get my baby home safely. That’s all I needed.
