  I have rented from here before and while there were some minor issues, nothing that would deter me from booking with them again until today. I made a reservation for a vehicle and prepaid. I get all the way to the location to pick up my vehicle and get told that they don’t have the car for me and won’t be able to fulfill my reservation. I understand that it is out of their control that reservations are booked and they can’t fulfill the request but the team should communicate that to the customers before they come to the location expecting a vehicle. it is bare minimum customer service to let reservations know you can’t fulfill them.

  Rented a 15 passenger van for my husband's 50th birthday to travel to Biloxi, MS this past weekend. A lady ran a red light and crashed into us on Saturday. We called Budget immediately and no one would assist us. They told us that we had to call this local office for assistance to get another vehicle to get home on Sunday but the office was closed. We had to stay another night at the hotel. I called the local office first thing Monday morning, told the representative what happened and she put me on hold to transfer me to a manager. The phone disconnected and they have not answered the phone since. It's now Tuesday morning and they still will not answer the phone or call me back. They left us stranded. I will NEVER rent from Budget again!! I finally called my insurance company and they got us a car from Enterprise and we made it home. Budget still will not answer my phone calls. Just awful customer service and they didn't seem to care about our situation. The worst rental experience ever!

  I went on aug 31, the day before labor day. There was only one customer in front of us, but the phones wereringing off the hook. There was only one representative behind the counter. The phones literally rang off the hook the entire time we were there. Keith tried his best, but answers were very vague and "well we're not responsible for..." This location was more than 30 minites away from my house, and the only Budget that had the car carrier available for reservation. Took at least 1 hour just to process my invoice and that was with a TWO MONTH RESERVATION IN ADVANCE. Apparently every location is different since they're a franshice. All of his responses consisted of "Well we don't do that at this location," or "If we do that then it's at the owner's discretion. They don't even give you instructions on how to attached the car to the carrier! That should be a disclaimer before I even reserved a spot here. This is the second time I've been disappointed with their service and policies. Will pay the extra few hindred next time to get U-Haul or somewhere else.
