Something was wrong with some of the equipment at pep boys when I took it there originally and they couldn't do the brakes that day. I went to Mavis because they could get the tires the next day and do it all at once. Interestingly enough, they said my brakes are fine. They also took me out to my car while the tires were off and measured in front of me so I could see it too. They could have just changed the brakes and taken my money but instead said no they are fine. They agreed I had needed the new tires though which I got. So I would come here again and feel confident I'm being told the truth about what I need because they were honest about the brakes and I appreciate that and am sure other customers looking for honesty would too.

I had a really bad day. This guy made me forget about my worries and it made my day better. And that’s what Scott did hands-down. I’m glad I chose Mavis over the competition down the road across the way.
- VVVanessaDec 21, 20251.0I scheduled a 1:00 pm appointment to change one tire I arrived at 12:50. At 2:15 pm I was still waiting for my car. If a customer has a scheduled appointment for service it’s an expectation that the appointment will be honored not given excuses as to why a delay. Piece of advice when customers make an appointment don’t make them wait an hour outside of their appointment time. So disappointing!
