Fortunately, Nicole, who assisted me with the rental pickup, was very kind and professional. Her scanner was not working, but she handled the situation gracefully and provided clear instructions on how to proceed. When I went to retrieve the vehicle, the attendant bringing it around appeared frustrated and disengaged. I tried to explain the situation regarding the scanner, but she abruptly tossed me the keys and walked away without confirming whether any additional steps were needed. This lack of communication and courtesy was disappointing, especially after a long day of travel. The employee at the exit gate was polite, and the vehicle itself met all of my needs. Overall, while the car was in excellent condition and a few staff members were pleasant, the overall customer service experience—particularly at check-in and vehicle pickup—fell short of Enterprise’s (or National) usual standards.
