Leah at the front desk was extremely helpful! I came in right before they closed because my tire was damaged and she made the whole experience easy and quick! I work in customer service and after a long day right before close I know it can be tough but she was so pleasant and now my tire is fixed!! ◡̈

Buyer beware verify the DOT date before you let them install any tire.
In May 2024, I bought a single replacement tire from this location that was represented as new. When I later checked the DOT code, I discovered it was manufactured in 2021, meaning it was already four years old when sold and installed. That tire ended up causing uneven wear and alignment issues.
When I tried to resolve the issue, I was passed between multiple Mavis locations in Savannah and received inconsistent explanations. One manager even admitted Mavis “stores tires up to five years and sells them as new,” which explains why this happened. Despite clear evidence, I was quoted nearly $500 for two “entry-level” tires and told there was “no issue” with the old tire.
I’ve since escalated this to corporate under a formal case number and am waiting for their compliance team to review it. I’m leaving this review to help other customers avoid the same problem:
✅ Always check the DOT code on any tire before it’s installed.
✅ “New” doesn’t always mean newly manufactured.

I had a wonderful experience with Donna. I needed 4 new tires. The appointment was easy to make (online), she greeted me by name when I came in, she sold me just what I wanted at the price I wanted to pay, and the tires were on and the alignment checked (I didn't need it as it turned out - and she told me that without charging me) in just a little over an hour. Great service, great product.
