- AKAyeJay Kay5 days ago4.01st off the little red headed kid that works here is NOT the one you wanna talk to!! He asked me for the model of my car 4 times & 4 times I told him A.L.T.I.M.A he proceeded to tell me that he couldn't find the correct parts for my car because he needed to know what model my car is... I drive a 2007 Nissan Altima: year, make, model. I was fully intending to leave a 1 star review bc 0 isn't an option. I decided to come back one more time in hopes to talk to someone else... thankfully I did bc Herschell was working & as soon as I told him the year, make, & model of my car he had no issues helping me!! Came back a 3rd time & met the manager Christina (she's great!!) & she had no issues helping me either. Now I will only come in if I call ahead & one of them is working!! That red headed kid tho, avoid him!! He doesn't know what he's doing & has horrible customer service!!

Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
