- HCHugh ColtonMar 21, 20191.0Budget truck rental reservation both on the website and on the e-mail for the van that I wanted to rent, confirming the reservation makes no mention of a mileage charge. I called to confirm the price and then I learnt that the mileage charge is $0.79 per mile. Had I waited and just shown up to collect the vehicle I would have been in for a very serious shock. The mileage charge would have tripled the cost of the rental. What a scam!
