The manager came out and informed me that they were in there so when they eventually go bad, I won’t need to buy them again! Friendly, professional, and educated staff. Best tire shop in PTC with competitive prices and lots of good food options in walking distance while you wait.

- ALAnthony LayfieldJan 17, 20261.0I am posting this review to warn others after an extremely dangerous experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes Peachtree East. I brought my Chevrolet Silverado in for routine brake service. I was upsold on brakes, rotors, shocks, struts, and an alignment and paid roughly $2,600. When I picked up my truck, I noticed the front end was sitting much lower. I later discovered they had removed my front-end leveling kit without my authorization and threw it away. The manager admitted this and offered to reinstall it. That turned into weeks of delays, excuses, and ultimately ghosting. I was told the new suspension hardware they installed was incompatible with the leveling kit and that they would “find a solution.” They never did. Refunds were refused, and I was told there was no supervisor to escalate to. The worst part came later. After experiencing pulling, shaking, and squeaking, I took my truck to another shop. I was informed that Mavis failed to reinstall the lower control arm mounting nuts/bolts. These are critical suspension fasteners. Some were missing entirely, others were backing out. This is catastrophically dangerous. A failure here can cause sudden loss of steering or suspension collapse at speed. I had been driving my family in this vehicle, completely unaware I was at risk because of their negligence. This wasn’t a minor mistake. This was reckless, unsafe work that should never leave a shop. I am now paying additional money to fix what Mavis did wrong, after already paying thousands. I strongly recommend avoiding this location if you value your safety.
