  From six hours away, buying a camper could have felt like a leap of faith — but Andrew at Camping World in Oakwood made it feel like the most natural thing in the world. He accommodated us by arranging the paperwork signing in Myrtle Beach so we didn't have to make the long drive to Georgia, sent detailed videos of the camper so we knew exactly what we were getting, and even checked in on us during our first camping trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. That kind of personal attention is rare. Andrew didn't just sell us a camper — he made us feel like we mattered as customers. We couldn't be happier with our Jayco Feather 21MML, and a big part of that is because of the experience he created for us. Highly recommend!

  Camping world left us high and dry with a 2023 21' Coleman Dutchman used camper that we bought from them recently. On our first outing the right axle bearing burnt up causing the wheel to almost drop off when we were pulling into our camping spot. Calls to the dealership were useless as they referred us to the manufacturer (Keystone). We contacted a repairman who found us a new A new axle at $800.00 plus tax and 3 1/2 hours of service to install it. All told we were out over $1,400.00. On the sales receipt the receipt showed that the affected side of the axle had never been greased. Additionally, after much haggling the salesman agreed that they would remove the $699.00 documentation fee. Yet after being rushed through the sale I later found that they had added the fee. I will never do business with them again and I encourage others to avoid them.

  They are very difficult to work with when it comes to warranty work. For heaven sake, don’t buy the extended warranty. It’s expensive and useless. They lost the screen door to my camper 4 months ago and still haven’t given it back!! Horrible place to work with once they sell the camper!

  We made a last minute decision to drive to Camping World in Oakwood from Hartwell today (4/11/2026). We knew when we pulled in, it was going to be very overwhelming seeing the vast amount of inventory on their lot. Before we stepped onto the lot, Aaron introduced himself and did an amazing job taking the time to get to know us, allowing us to tell him exactly all the amenities, our budget, and our concerns about the towing allowance our truck would be able to pull. Aaron, did his research, did not waste our time pulling inventory that would not fit our budget and with ALL the amenities we were looking for. He drove us through the lot in his golf cart, answered all our questions and allowed us all the time we needed to make a conscious decision without any rush. It was the absolute best experience shopping for an investment that we've been looking foward to doing and can't wait to finalize everything over the next few days. AWESOME JOB AARON!!   My experience at Camping World (Oakwood, GA) was exceptional. I was greeted by Devin Dekle who was my attentive sales person throughout my entire process at the dealership. Being new to the RV mode of camping, I had much to learn and Devin was a knowledgeable teacher. In addition, he was sensitive to my needs as a single woman who, most times, would be camping alone. He guided me to selecting a camper that would work perfectly for me! He was respectful and kind and incredibly patient with my decision making. I felt no pressure at all! He went above and beyond to make sure that I was thoroughly comfortable with the operation of the unit! In that regard, I would be remiss in not mentioning a young man named Trey who was so helpful in teaching me about the hitch and how to properly and easily stabilize the camper. A cool guy! A perfect salesman. An awesome dealership! I’ll never go anywhere else.
