- JMJust Being Me3 days ago1.0SCAMMERS!!! DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING THE PEOPLE AT MAVIS TIRES AND BRAKES IN NEWNAN, GA TELL YOU. DO NOT GO TO MAVIS TIRES AND BRAKES IN NEWNAN, GA. I visited Mavis Tires in Newnan, GA (00636) on November 20, 2025 for a courtesy brake inspection. Representative said I needed brakes and new rotors. He said the "cost out the door would be $469 plus tax." He wrote $469 on a computer print out estimate of $532 for the cost of brakes and rotors. So he offered this discount if I allowed Mavis to install the brakes. My experience with Mavis changed for the worse when it became time to pay. The man said the charge would be $532 Plus change. After a back and forth discussion about the discounted amount of $469 and presenting him with his handwritten quote, he adjusted the price but then added more than $18 for shop supplies. I reminded him that he said "out the door $469 plus tax." So I paid the additional $18 dollars Plus change for the shop supplies. This man shamelessly lied to me and then reluctantly discounted the cost of the brakes and added additional charges. He was nice and accommodating until after I had the brakes installed and then he showed his true character. He was intent on making me pay as much as he could. HE DID NOT HONOR HIS OWN WORDS. HE LIED TO ME to persuade me to approve installation of the brakes and rotors. I learned a lesson about Mavis Tires and Brakes in Newnan, GA. I stood there going back and forth with this man about something he said an hour before. What customer wants to do that? Ridiculous. This is another establishment that rips people off to make a dollar. They are dishonest people who care nothing about its customers. Now I have no confidence in the work they performed on my car. I have no confidence in the value of what I received for my money. I should have allowed the dealership to do the work. I expected quality service for a reasonable price. I received lies and a rip-off. NEVER AGAIN MAVIS TIRES AND BRAKES!!!!! NEWNAN, GA SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!

Picked them up from school and when we got home at 4:57 pm realized I had a left rear tire that was loosing air quickly. I called my son who was out of town & he contacted the Mavis Store at 1062 Bullsboro Dr, Newman, Ga. They told me to come on, they didn’t close until 6:00 pm. With the rush hour traffic it was around 5:15 pm before we got there. They were most professional and had us on our way in 30 minutes. They found a nail in the tire and were able to repair the tire. I asked the gentleman how much I owed him and he said not a thing!! This is the kind of service that will get my repeat business. Highly recommend!
