My overall experience with enterprise Rent-A-Car again as far as the employees was great as always. As far as the car we received was the worst. After being told that you're not allowed to smoke in the car, the car we received you could've gotten high from the smell of marijuana. Damn near made me want to puke. The manager, they offered me a huge discount on my next rental because of that. Very professional.

The enterprise staff was fantastic. I didn't like the first car that I received. When I asked to change vehicles my request was granted without delay. The staff was very helpful throughout the nearly 3 week rental. I will definitely rent from them again.

Where do I begin… from needing a rental car after experiencing a tragic situation firsthand (a tree fell on my car), to management denying my initial reservation using my corporate discount because it “wasn’t purely for business,” to charging me full price for an extended rental, all the way down to the manager (the young woman the clerk escalated to) telling me, with a straight face, “You don’t have to rent from us, you can go somewhere else.”
That statement was made after I had already paid for transportation and chose this local Enterprise specifically after noticing it was female-run (I have eight sisters and strongly support women-owned businesses).
This experience is easily in my top five of situations I never want to experience again. Thankfully, my insurance company ultimately came to the rescue.
My recommendation for running this location more effectively and optimizing the customer experience would be to retrain the entire staff and/or replace management. No one should be made to feel lower when they are already at their lowest.
Functionality does not equal optimization. Just because customers are coming in and the business is operating does not mean it is being run at the highest level. Efficiency and customer experience should be continuously evaluated and improved where needed.
